Fascinated by anything that crawls, I went around from rock to rock and creek to creek looking for reptiles, amphibians, and arachnids as a kid. That fascination grew into a passion of keeping and maintaining arachnids and herps throughout the years both in my private collection and working for the Iowa State University Insect Zoo while I was a student. One of the joys I get from keeping these amazing animals is the ability to utilize them as an educational tool to inspire others. We strive to provide others an opportunity to keep these fascinating creatures while providing educational information to allow them to provide top notch husbandry and to experience their natural behavior.
